how do i hook up my electric guitar, bass, and drum machine all together so i can hear them all in headphones?
I want to basically be able to jam with me on my electric guitar and a friend on electric bass, while my drum machine is playing a beat for us. I have complaining neighbors, so i want us to both have headphones on while we can hear each other, and the drum machine. What is the easiest way to do this? I've heard of computer programs that you can plug in your guitar and bass to, and its basically like an amazing amp on the computer. I think it's on a Mac, but i use a PC. There's gotta be a relatively easy way to get this done. Any suggestions.
yeah, you're gonna want a little mixer like a cheap Mackie 8 chan. or even smaller. You just plug all your inputs into the chanels and then have the output go to a little headphone amplifier which boosts the signal and has a bunch of headphone outputs on it, each with volume knobs so each person can have a different level. You can find all of this through musicians friend or Guitar Center. Good Luck.
