fuel conversion of a Holden Astra CDTI turbo diesel 2007 (automatic)?
Given the ridiculous prices for gasoline and the fact that I am a uni student living in a region of the country without public transportation, I'm looking to convert my diesel dual-fuel LPG option. I heard that this has been done before, but I'm not sure if this is possible with this brand and model. Is there someone who can answer this for me? Greetings:)
I can not convert disel motor gasoline and diesel are CI (compression ignition). Compersion depend heavily relations and the heat of compression to ignite the air / fuel mixture in gasoline and LPG are CI (compression ignition) and the use of a lighter (plug) to complete the combustion process. Diesel has also emphasized qualities lubricants that protect the engine that is strained with rates compression ratio (eg 30:1, where an internal combustion engine could be 10:1), while that of petrol and LPG are particularly dry in the comparsion, but it's a moot point anyway. So unless a new kit avalible, I do not think this can be done.
