Signal Light Horn
Signal Light Horn
1972 ... Superbeetle lights do not work. Help me!

Replacement bulbs, replaced the fuse, replaced the flasher. What else? The love of my error, hate things not working. Also something weird ... when you pull the arm back as if to turn off the lights, sounds the horn.

From the description of the problem resembles the horn switch is false. Here's how to check. 1) All of son the switch to move the steering column in the quarter "In one set of cables. Since the wheel more or less go to the fuse box. 2) Work signle round with three son of a source of energy that goes in (a broadcast from the turn signal), then the power cords flasher in the fuse box .. 3) Place both son to return to the fuse box flashing and just build a bridge (a cable with two alligator clips) the power of each (both). 4) If the cabling and accessories are good, the lights should come on this side (but not because it ignores the flash unit flashing light). If they do, then the switch is bad. You can get a new one for about $ 45 or so JCWhitney.com. It will also put their horn self "at the same time. 5) If part of the lights are on, then you have either a bulb or loose connections are bad or the ground wire of the light is bad. Replace rub / hobby, or remove and tighten if necessary. This should solve the problem.
