HELP! Laptop Cannot Switch On At All?
Hi there. im using travelmate 290E (yes, it quite old) and one day, when i was using it for my assignment, it suddenly turned off. I tried hundred times to boot it back but all i get is :
1. a blink battery led indicator
2. fan spin for 2 seconds, and silent
3. blank screen without any acer logo at all (means i cannot boot)
i've try few steps such as, removing battery, change the ram, remove the HD, but none helped.
I suspect the problem is
- AC power plug is 3.42A
- current dc rating for my laptop is 3.16A
any other suggestion or solution? thx for reading this. T_T
i've tried removing the battery and boot with only AC power, but it failed too. thx
I mean..i plug the AC power, the lid for power is turn on but cannot boot up the laptop..
Since you said you plugged it in and no power, I suggest you change your power adapter because if no power going to your laptop = no charge to your battery.
