Is it true that you can use Gasoline to clean plastic car parts?
I read on a forum that you can use Gasoline (or was it Diesel)?) to clean plastic pieces such as plastic Fenders (My 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport has them, google that if you need an example) and it will help to keep them looking dark, and not sunfaded.
true? If not, what do you suggest to use on that?
Nope, that'll melt the plastic. I use Mothers Back to Black. it cleans or stains and brings back rubber and plastic parts/trim to new/like new depending on how bad it was before
