What are my rights if I got rear ended while parked?
I had my truck parked in front of my house and it's got rear ended.I got all info from the guy who had hit it,I already contact his insurance and they are working on it,but the problem is I have to use my car to work as a delivery guy,and the lift gate is not oppening because of the accident,and I really need to use that door to put boxes and deliveries from my work,so its been very hard to work and I cant get a rental car because I need a special insurance(comercial insurance with I have in my truck) to work.So because of this problem I am facing a lot of lost time and of course money beacuse of the delay.since everything needs to go from the side door.
What can I do to have a replacement for that hassle?
Contact HIS insurance company and explain the situation and ask them to provide you with an alternate vehicle in the meantime. If they do not cooperate, contact a lawyer.
