What makes a powerful pulling winch ? ? ??????
i just bought a winch = 2721 Kg pulling power
MF WINCH 4 hp 12V
cable 30 x 3/16" A compact portable electric winch with power remote control.
Some more powerful motors I have noticed can only pull 900kg.
What is it about the winch that contributes to it maximum pulling power? ? ? ? (What part)
Basically any winch can generate pulling power. With the right gear box it can put out tons of torque with very little horsepower input.
The problem is when you have a high torque winch, generally the trade off is feed rate.
High torque - Lower feed rate = Affordable Price.
High torque + High Feed Rate = High Price.
